El Santo is a Mexican restaurant and bar built around two obsessions: the regional cooking of Oaxaca, and the glorious chaos of lucha libre. Chef Daniel Calderón Camacho runs the kitchen — mole that takes days, masa pressed in house, seafood handled the way they do it on the coast. Out front, masked wrestlers, Latin house and a bar that treats agave seriously. It is fun, unpretentious and a little wild. The kind of place you pop in for a drink and end up staying for "just one more plate".
